Program Name: Tars
Program Description: Tars is an SMS-based reminder service that allows you to create text message reminders by texting your assigned number. You will receive confirmation messages when you set reminders and reminder messages at your scheduled times.
Enrollment and Consent
By opting in to Tars Reminders, you consent to receive automated SMS messages from us at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.You may opt in by:
1. Providing verbal consent during direct interaction, followed by
2. Texting any message to our service number and replying YES to our confirmation message
Message Frequency
You will receive two messages per reminder you create:
1. One immediate confirmation message when you set the reminder
2. One reminder message at your scheduled timeThe total number of messages you receive depends on how many reminders you set. There is no fixed monthly limit—message frequency is entirely controlled by your usage.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service plan. Consult your wireless carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.
Supported Carriers
This service is available on participating carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Service availability and message delivery may vary by carrier.
How to Use the Service
1. Set a Reminder: Text your reminder with the time you want to be reminded (e.g., "Pick up groceries at 3pm tomorrow")
2. Receive Confirmation: You'll get a confirmation message with your reminder details
3. Receive Reminder: At the scheduled time, you'll receive your reminder message
Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel this service at any time.To opt out and stop receiving all messages from Tars:- Text STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to our service numberYou will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. After opting out, you will not receive any further messages unless you re-subscribe by texting START.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery may be affected by network conditions, device compatibility, carrier outages, or other factors beyond our control. We are not responsible for messages that are delayed, failed to deliver, or delivered to the wrong number due to carrier or technical issues.
Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to:- Modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice- Suspend service for maintenance or technical issues- Refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these terms
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:- Use the service for any illegal purpose- Send threatening, harassing, or inappropriate content- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service- Use the service to spam or harass others- Share access to your account with unauthorized users
Privacy
Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.Important: We will never share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
Intellectual Property
Tars and all associated branding, technology, and content are our property or our licensors' property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:- We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages- Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Severability
